How you can be successful by being fit
A few days back my school resumed for offline functioning and I was really excited to start going to school. When I went to school, I felt like a soldier returning from war, everything was changed and you know what changed the most,
Everybody in my school had grown a few inches of personal fat property, my friends, my crushes (yeah right!! I have crushes) and also my imaginary girlfriend had gained some weight after seeing my friends. The world changed in the span of covid outbreaks but the thing that was affects most after stock market prices and economy is our health. According to a study conducted by nature.com among 10,082 participants of high schools and colleges in China, it was found that average body mass index of students had increased by 21.8 to 22.1 kg/m2 and the percentage of obese people increased by 21.4% and 24.6% from 10%.
One of the other changes that I saw in my peers in school was that there is a decriment of focus and mental ability. Let’s be honest on this, if you are student who faced the torture of online education, you might have also tried to exploit the shortcomings of online exams, but you haven’t realised that this is a direct sign of lack of positive mental and physical health.
Lockdowns have people more and more lazy and that has affected their physical health and progress.
How success is related to your mental and physical fitness
Now, there goes an analogy, Human body requires actions to sustain the effective metabolic functions inside our body. As we all have spent our lockdown time working at a stationary position for long hours, our body starts accumulating the excess energy in the form of fats and there is no rocket science in this those unutilized fats consume out the energy of your body to breakdown the fat globules. This in turn, take away your ability to take critical decisions and in turn, reduce your chances to be successful. How many times, you have just procrastinated a decision to start something new? Or imagine a scenario where you are working on your computer and then you suddenly feel thirsty, how many you have just wanted to stay there or just want to just go and take a glass of water.
Well, the same happens when you are not healthy, your body starts forming disagreements with your mind’s plans. So, while you might have a great idea in your mind but your body you will not have the energy to process that action for your mind and in this you will get towards your plan. Look, I am talking about 6 pack abs and all that here but I am talking about increasing your physical capabilities to their peak performance, so that whenever you get an opportunity for yourself you don’t have to lose it just because you don’t have the energy for it.
If you want to start changing your life, start by incorporating changes in your physical fitness. Let your physical fitness make way for new opportunities in your life. A better body will make way for positive thoughts to enter and propagate inside you. A better physique will make you procrastinate less for your dreams because your body will be ready for all those actions and all those struggles that you will get in your way to success. So, start by physical fitness.
